Student Online Readiness Module: Available Now!
If you are new to learning online this Spring, check out the Online Readiness module. In this short self-paced training you will review study skills, time management, and navigating tools commonly used in online learning. Log in​to www.go2orientation.com/matc​ with your MATC network account and password to begin. Upon completion of the module, you will receive a certificate of completion at your MATC email address.

Student Online Blackboard Orientation Schedule
To see a live demonstration of Blackboard tools for online learning and to ask an expert any questions you may have, attend a Student Blackboard Orientation Webinar. The sessions are run through Google Meet and will be offered throughout the semester. See the linked schedule for session dates and complete the RSVP form to save your seat. Upon the appointed date and time, click on the session link in the schedule to join us.

Important Announcement About Your Attendance
MATC takes attendance for all students. If you take an online, virtual, or blended course, please make sure that you are logging into the course to complete weekly activities. Your completion of activities counts as your attendance. See our Attendance Information page for details.

Introducing Ally
Ally is a simple yet powerful tool that helps improve the accessibility of course content within Blackboard. In your Spring Blackboard sections, you can access Ally to download alternative document formats for easier reading. See the Student Support Website’s Ally page to learn how you can use this tool. 

Blackboard Ultra Courses - Coming Summer 2023
In Summer 2023, the college plans to update Blackboard to the Ultra Course View. This means that all courses offered in Summer 2023 will be run in Ultra Course mode, offering a streamlined user interface that provides a mobile-friendly and student-centered course experience with more efficient workflows.
