A special chapel service was held on Friday, Nov. 15, where students publicly declared their commitment to Christ through baptism. The service, led by student ministries, provided an opportunity for the campus community to come together in celebration and support. Last weekend’s Harvest Fest at the Gillioz Theatre was a success, drawing in a crowd for an evening of fun and entertainment. The theme, Nautical Nonsense, created an exciting atmosphere with students dressed in costumes and showcasing their talents. The event featured costume contests, student performances, and plenty of surprises. Many people came together to celebrate Evangel Activities Board's tradition of variety shows. Evangel's football and volleyball teams both concluded their seasons last week with impressive winning records. The football team finished strong with an 8-2 record, securing their third consecutive winning season and sixth under ninth-year head coach Chuck Hepola. The volleyball team also had a standout season, ending with a 24-6 record. They advanced past the first round of the KCAC conference tournament before falling to the McPherson College Bulldogs in the semifinals.
Located in AGTS, the Admiral Vern Clark Veteran’s Center offers veterans, active duty students and their dependents a space for community and access to essential resources such as academic guidance and military benefits.
