The goal of this course is to open you to the possibilities of allowing the feminine aspect of the Divine in your life. It is about the story of the Divine Feminine. The course will begin with an indepth exploration of women as viewed through anthropology. We will then expand the lens to include the history of women in religion.There is ongoing disagreement and discussion amongst theologians, scholars, anthropologists, and archeologist regarding interpretations of many artifacts, text and remains regarding this topic. The course will conclude by asking you to comprehend women's inner power and the strengths of femininity while gaining a clear understanding of what the divine feminine is and its incredible importance in today’s societies. We will cover sacred activism-social justice topics such as the patriarchal elements of religion, sexism in society, and ‘Mother Wounds’. You will learn what the divine feminine within means in all aspects of major religios and cultures.
This research Ph.D. program will have course material designed specifically for each candidate. Prerequisites include a Master in Theology, Divinity, Pastoral Ministry, or Sacred Theology Licentiate.
By the completion of the program, the scholar will have added new knowledge in the field of Divine Feminine studies..
The facilitator will guide each doctoral candidate in his/her advanced academic degree studies.
